<alt>printscreen

Does anyone have any ideas how I can track down why when I use
<alt>printscreen I cannot get the active window. But when I use printscreen
alone I do get the entire screen

Some keyboard "PS/2 - USB" adapters will cause this alt key problem.
Printscreen should/will capture the desktop.

Thx Bob!

I have a usb kbrd and some software that came with it installed. Once I
changed back to my ps2 kbrd and terminated the software process for the usb
kbrd I am now able to use <alt>prinstscreen again
