Alpha Tabs in "Phone List" Can it be turned on?

I'd love to see the same Alpha tabs that are shown in "Address Cards" in the
"Phone List" view. Can this be turned on?

no, you can't enable it, but you can press keys to take you to the first
contact using that letter in any view. You need in cell editing disabled and
how it behaves may depend on the view.
