Allowed disk space for Offline Files won't stay put

Hi, I have several Win2kPro and XPpro clients on which I have started using
Offline Folders to hold commonly used forms and documentation.

When I go in Control Panel --> Folder Options --> Offline Folders, there is
a slider bar that lets the user set the amount of disk space that Offline
Folders are allowed to use.

I have tried several times to increase the allowed size from 5% (2 gigs in
my case) up to 5 gigs. However, after I click the Apply button and then go
back into the settings, the slider bar has reverted back to the default 5% /
2 gigs setting.

Is there any other place that I should be changing this setting? or is there
a known fix/work-around for this?

Thanks in advance!

I changed the settings in the registry where the link told me to, but it
doesn't seem to change anything. The slide control doesn't change. It will
not go up past 5%. Has anyone gotten this to work?
