Allow users to enable/disable hibernation?

Is there any way to give regular users permission to enable/disable
hibernation on Windows 2000 domain computers? I have searched through
gpo and the registry, and all I can find is how to give users
permission to change active power profiles (by changing permissions on
some registry keys). I can't find anything on hibernation though. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Scott

Thanks Steve. I've actually tried the EZ GPO tool. It appears that you can
only set the amount of time until hibernation, etc..., but you cannot turn it
on or off, or give users the ability to turn it on or off. I will post in
the gpo section. Thanks again,

Scott

Another thing... If I could just disable hibernation across the entire
domain, I wouldn't need to give user's access to change it. All I want to do
is disable it. It comes enabled by default on several systems for some
reason.

Here is a post I found that may be of help that mentions using the
powercfg.exe utility that he says works on XP SP2 and deploying it via a
Group Policy startup script. I have not tried it myself but it looks
promising in being able to configure a number of settings including
disabling hibernation by setting value to zero. --- Steve
