ALL my Windows applications have this same problem. For example, MS
Word. I start MS Word and the interface initially has "focus" and I am
able to type. Within a few seconds, the Window "loses focus"; the top
deep blue highlighted bar of the Window changes to pale blue; and no
keyboard input is recognized (e.g. dead Window). I have to click on the
Window somewhere with my mouse to "wake up" the Window so that any
input is possible. It then goes dead (again) a few seconds later. ALL
Windows applications act this way. They can never keep focus and let me
work. I have 32-bit Windows XP Professional SP2.
This is driving me crazy. Any helpful ideas how to fix this?
Thank you,
