All these Patches are slowing my system

I have noticed that all the fixes, patches, and Hot updates in xp pro has
definitely slowed down my system, IE and other apps seem to hesitate before
being launched.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomena?
Does Msoft know about this? Is this happening on your system? What if
anything can be done?(short of using a different OP)

Hi,

It's probably not the patches themselves, but rather something interacting
on your machine. They could be a conflicting with an update, but are more
likely conflicting with something else installed on the system. See if these
