I do not know what I did, but I can no longer open the
all programs list from the start menu.
If I right click the button and explore or open; I get a
folder with nothing in it.
I am currently accessing my programs with a toolbar
shortcut set to all users/start menu.
How can I get the REAL start menu to act normal again?

Danny,

Open Registry Editor and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserShell Folders\
Set Start Menu value to "%USERPROFILE%\Start Menu"

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Set Common Start Menu value to "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Start Menu"

Once done, reboot for the changes to take effect.
