All of My Rules Are Corrupted--How Do I Delete Them?

G

Hello--

We are running an Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003 environment. I changed my
computer and all of my rules now say "client-only" and I cannot modify nor
delete them.

Although I really don't want to have to start over with my rules, I am
willing to delete them if that's what it takes. I cannot select a rule to
edit or delete it. Also, all of the function buttons in the edit rules are
grayed out.

Many thanks,

sd

Export them, then stop Outlook and restart it with the /cleanrules command
line switch. Import the rules again. You should be able to update them or
delete them. If you don't care about adding them back in, use /cleanrules
straightaway without exporting them first.

Thanks for the advice. Can you tell me the entire command line?

Click Start, then Run. In the Open field, enter

outlook.exe /cleanrules

Click OK. Note the space in front of the slash.
