Can you clarify a little? What kind of embedded objects are we talking
about? PDFs? Word documents? Excel spreadsheets? Excel charts? JPGs? PNGs?
TIFs? Something else?
By "black background," do you mean the objects have a shadow applied? Or do
they turn completely black, so you can't see the content at all?
What version of PPT? What version of Windows?
Is it a problem with High Contrast? Go to Start/Control
Panel/Accessibility/Display and turn off High Contrast.
