all lettering is underlined

When I click in a folder to view its contents, everything
is underlined. The writing on the desktop is unerlined,
can you help me take it off?
 
Hi Thomas,

In the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options. On the General
tab, under Click items as follows, click the option you want.
