All desktop shortcuts have an office symbol on them.

All the desktop shortcut icons have an office symbol on them. If i delete them and recreat them but the office symbol appears. I remove the shelliconcache and reboot but they office symbol appears on the icons. This only affects shortcuts on the desktop. If i paste a file to the desktop the icon doesn't change. Help Please, how do I restore my original shortcuts and keep them from changing.
