All desktop settings not being saved.

XP Pro is not saving lone of my desktop settings. When I restart or start
after shutting down, the Windows Classic Style is reverting back to Windows
XP style under the Appearance tab/windows and buttons option. Everything else
seems to be okay, just that one option is not being saved. I have been
resetting it every time I log in. I checked the registry to see if the save
desktop settings were turned off, but the string from a earlier post is not
in my registry;
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoSaveSettings"=dword:00000001 or NoSaveSettings"=dword:00000000
My registry does not have the CurentVersion link. I see the ntuser log
increase in size after I change the setting in properties, but I don't think
it is saveing the log on shutdown. Anyone have any ideas?

Tried that, but still reverted back to Windows XP Style, thanks for the
attempt though.
