Hi.
I've noticed that WinXP automaticly downloads album art
to the mp3's you've got on your computer.
They are named like:

"AlbumArt_{4D3D6CE5-26C3-4A0E-BFC5-F3B9E075C7A3}
_Large.jpg",

"AlbumArt_{4D3D6CE5-26C3-4A0E-BFC5-F3B9E075C7A3}
_Small.jpg" etc...

Is there any way to stop WinXP from downloading these
files to the computer since they are only a waste of
space?

One person's waste of space is another's cherished art collection, but to
each their own.

Presuming that you are talking about Windows Media Player, open the Player
and go to Tools > Options > Privacy tab and remove the first two checkmarks
in the 'Enhanced Playback Experience' section.
