Album cover art not showing in thumbnail view

Dan

Hi,

I'm an XP user and I've been using MusicMatch 7.5 Plus to
encode from CD to WAV and then from WAV to MP3. While I'm
often able to see the album art in MusicMatch during the
WAV encoding process, I'm not able to later view the album
art in my MP3 folder once I expand it to thumbnail size. I
assumed that MusicMatch would have saved the album cover
art for later viewing and XP's technology would have made
it possible to see the album cover art in a folder,
regardless of which program is used to rip and encode, but
certainly beyond just WMP9.

If anyone can explain what I need to do in order to remedy
this dilemma without having to scrap my entire MP3
collection, I would appreciate it. (It's troublesome that
after all of these versions of WMP with all the hype that
it gets for being free, attractive and user-friendly, and
even after paying for and installing a third-party MP3
encoder for WMP9, I still can't produce a WAV file.

Thanks for listening.

Windows XP uses a pretty basic scheme for album art management, and it looks
like MusicMatch isn't plugging into it-

Any particular reason why you're desiring to rip to WAV if you're just
converting to MP3 immediately?

See http://www.nwlink.com/~zachd/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
