Alarm tab is missing from Power Options Properties

What component(s) am I missing to enable/display the Alarm tab under Power
Options?

Also, the Battery icon is missing under Device Manager with these components
installed.....any ideas!

Class Install Library - Batt
Device: Battery
Microsoft Composite Battery
Primitive: Battc.sys

Just a guess: Do you have the following and resolved dependencies?

Class Installer - Batteries
CoDevice Installer - Batteries
Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery
Power Meter Control Panel
Primitive: Powrprof

it looks like the Microsoft ACPI was missing ...so I'll go try it.

Any ideas on the Ararm Tab.

Sorry, I don't. I was hoping that one of the components I mentioned
might have supplied it.

What I would do at this stage is try Konstantin's XPProEmmulation from
www.xpefiles.com and see if that works. If it does, I would then start
removing likely components until the alarm tab disappears.
