AIW 9700 audio help

Hi,
I am using a 9700 AIW Pro on windows 2000. The sound card is an
nforce 2 ultra 400 .

ATI Multimedia center 8.7

I can get sound only in TV on demand mode. If I watch TV without
TV on Demand, I do not get audio. The video recorder works with sound,
but live TV does not show sound. What am I missing here ?

make sure that line in is selected for input within th eTV application. Make
sure that line in is not muted in th eNV control panel.

hmmm. Thanks for your reply. I have made connections to line in
correctly.

The line in is not muted in the nforce control panel.

I thought I enabled line-in for audio in the multimedia centre, but I
am not sure now. I tried walking through all avaiable options, but
this doesnt come up. How should I check/ change this . Any suggestions
?
