After Updates IE very slow!

My once fast High Speed Internet is now slower than dial-up after installing
the Udates listed below. I uninstalled the updates one at time to see which
one was causing the problem. I uninstalled all of them and it didn't help. I
tried System Restore and wasn't able to restore to prior installation.

Updates installed:

Window Installer 3.1
KB890859
KB890923
KB893066
KB893086

Any help would be appreciated?

I use DSL and I contacted my ISP and reset the modem and now its working fine.
