Hi folks!
After rebooting and removing numerous adware entries, Norton Antivirus
came up and told me TCP/IP was not installed.
When I went to network properties, It shows a TCP/IP protocol for both
my modem and network adaptor, but I cannot access the internet. (the
ol' page not found error) IP address is wrong. It is a 169.xxx when it
should be a 192.xx assigned from my router.
I running Windows 2000 Professional
I went to add/remove programs and "installed windows components"
but didn't see a place to add or remove TCP/IP.
So what now?
Thanks
Savy
