After migrating user from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003 emails have disappeared

After migrating a user from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003, many of her
emails have disappeared. I remember reading somewhere that this is not
an uncommon side effect of this migration. Can anyone tell me how to
reverse this? Is there a setting somewhere?

Migrating properly will never lose data. Explain how you migrated and we
may be able to tell you what went wrong.

To reverse, just start over with the original data and new mail profile.

It's OK now. I did a search on her home folder and found she had a pst
file for some reason (contrary to our rules). I have imported the data
back into her inbox.

Thanks

Importing loses data. Never import from a PST. There's no need. Just open
the PST with FIle>Open>Outlook Data File and move things around as you wish.
