after login screensaver goes back to windows xp

me and a friend are both having the same problem, after we login or out the
screensaver changes back to windows xp. it works fine and can change
screensavers and they work great but when we log off then back in they go
back to the windows xp screensaver. i built both pc's with the new intel
motherboards(or close to the best ones) and both have all good eguipment and
work fine. i also have a dell 8200 that doesn't do that it keeps the
screensaver after i log back on. it does get annoying to have to ghange the
screensaver after every login. any help would be appreciated. probally
something stupid (lol) but i can't see it. e-mail me at

Hello,

At the same place you change the screen save just uncheck the box that says
"On resume, password Protect....." its right next to where you decided how
long you wait till the screen saver kicks in.

i know about that i don't have it on. it's when i log off then back on my
screensaver changes back to the windows xp screensaver every time instead of
staying on the screensaver that i picked
