After Joining XP to NT4 domain

Hi
I need to join windows xp pro workstations to a windows nt4 domain
and I can do that by installing netbeui on xp clients and adding a wins entry on them too
After I log in to to nt4 domain, the "All programs" option in the start menu doesn'
open. I believe this has something to do with joinning to an older domain
why does this happens, and what can I do to enable the "All programs" again i
th xp workstations
Thank you very much
Any help apreciated

Best regards
David

Your clients are XP. Your DC is NT. This group is 2000. ???

Joining a domain shouldn't make your start menu not open. You won't see
local_machine\administrator's start menu anymore when you log into the
domain, and maybe that's what you mean.

Hello David

I have been having the same problem for about two months
now. I work for a school and we have 3 servers one is a
nt4 and two 2000 servers. The problem starts when we join
the XP pro to the NT4 server. I have been trying to get
help with this problem and no one has been able to help
so good luck. If I get any help with this I will post it
here.
