After inserting background pic w/ watermark....

In order to insert a background picture w/ watermark on
my home page, of course, you have to remove the theme
FIRST. Now, that my beautiful background pic w/watermark
are in place, and my Site Theme is gone from the home
page, the awesome Banner and Link Bar are also gone. In
their place are some tired, boring crap. While still
keeping my background pic, how do I restore my default
Page Banner and Link Bar syle, or something similar is
fine? I tried the Web Component feature for the link bar,
but it won't just replace the one page. It changes all
pages. And the Banner, I just can't seem to get anything
good back. Please help. Thanks.

Do two things: Modify your theme so that the original
background of the theme is deleted. Go to Format|
Theme| In the Themes dialog box, select the theme you
want to use. Them click on the Modify button below. You
will be modifying graphics. Delete whatever jpg or gif
is in Background Picture box. Save your theme with a new
name.

2) Go to Format | Borders & Shading. Select the Shading
tab. Under Patterns, select the image you want to use as
a background image. You can determine whether you want
the image to repeat itself, where you want it placed, etc
in the boxes below the image box.

I tried that and I you can't remove the background
picture from a ready made theme. Plus, I want my pic to
remain a watermark. I tried that Borders and Shading
method and the background pic ONLY shows up behind my
HTML Dynamics. I'm exasperated. All I want is a cool
link bar and page banner that suits my theme alongside
my watermark background pic? It can't be that tough, but
it just seems to be. Anyone??

Do not use a theme.

Apply your background image to your pages, and then either use shared
borders or the FP Include Page component to include a page banner and link
bar on each page.

To Watermark a background if you are using a theme, Modify the Theme to add the "watermark" style:
Format | Theme | Modify | Text - select More Text Styles
Select the body tag and then Modify | Border | Shading and select
Repeat - select no-repeat
Attachment - select fixed
Vertical Position - select center
Horizontal Position - select center
OK|OK|OK|OK & Save As a new theme name

Apply the theme using the CSS option
