After a document printing starts at 14.3.cm half way down page .

I have office 2003 installed but when I want to print anything printer starts
at 14.3.cm. all other printing outside office is ok so indicates printer ok
 
You should ask this question in an Office 2003 newsgroup - this one is for Access only, the database product that is part of Office.
