Affects of deleting a group policy

when you delete a group policy will it remove it from the sys vol share and
from ad, or does that have to be done manually. If you accidently delete an
OU with a group policy and you want to recover it by an authoritative
restore will you also need to recover it in the sys vol share.

Yes so far I know is automatically deleted from the SYSVOL share when you
delete the particular object from Active Directory
