Adware Hunter

I think I have some kind of spyway on my PC. Everytime I load IE6 the
CD bay opens and a pop-up appears saying I need some spyware software
called Adware Hunter. It all looks suspicious (like I am going to give
them my credit card number !) Anyone know how to get rid of it ?

spybot at safer-networking.org or ad-aware at
lavasoftusa.com are real spyware programs. hopefully
you don't have a trojan,,,,,,,,,,,free antivirus at
grisoft.com
free firewall at zonelabs.com

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

I bought PestPatrol and removed all the scum from my
system and got rid of that same one. I do have other
problems now that may be a result of the scum remover
software. Good luck.
