ads in browser windows

Whilst navigating certain web pages adverts are now shown as [ad] this is now
tiresome as several pages of info i need to look at are behind these [ad]
links.Is there a way to ensure all of these ads are shown in full,and is this
as a result of sp2 installation?
any help gratefully received
 
I don't think sp2 affects ad links. I use Norton internet security and it
can remove ads, which I'm very happy.
