Hello,
I'm sure this is not the first time someone asks that one, but I can't find
keywords specific enough to find the answer ...
Users at my office are moving from a PC to another (W2K or XP). I wrote
scripts that sets their default printer based on the machine they are
currently using. This works with con2prt (when they have to use a shared
printer on the LTP1 or USB port on another PC) or rundll32
PrintUI.dll, printUIEntry (when they have to use a local LPT1 or USB printer).
Now, I have a new printer with a network card, an IP address and a NetBIOS
name. How can I force the machines to use this printer without having to log
on as an admin and create the Standard TCP/IP port ?
Thanks for your help ...
