Adobe Reader

My Adobe Reader ceased to work. It just locked up. I can not remove it with
add/remove programmes in control panel. So I have deleted everything in the
Adobe programme folder but it will not let me delete "AcroIEHelper.dll"
because it sayes it is being used by another programme. (I presume Internet
Explorer).
It won't let me install Adobe Reader 8, while it it is still there.

Try removing it in Safe Mode.

Consider switching to Foxit Reader.

Hi Gerry,
Thanks for the advice, I tried safe mode peviously to no avail.
So I tried your second suggestion and downloaded Foxit Reader (which I
didn't know existed) and it works fine, so that'll do me!
