ADMT and DNS forwarders - root server ?

I am trying to follow the Microsoft guide to migrate an
existing server running Windows 2000 Server and Exchange
2000 to a new server running Small Business Server 2003
and Exchange 2003. In preparation for running ADMT, it
says to create DNS forwarders on the source and
destination servers. When I go to the Forwarders tab in
the DNS tools on the source server, the box to enable
forwarders is greyed out and it says "forwarders are not
available because this is a root server". I'm not a DNS
guru, so I don't really know what this means. This is my
first attempt at trying to use these tools, and I'm
somewhat lost as to how to move forward from here.

In the DNS Console, you will see a zone with the name "." Delete that zone,
restart DNS, you are ready to go.
