ADModify

Trying to use ADModify to Change AD Display order for
existing users (www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF023.html).
However, the zipped ADModify utility referenced at:

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/PSS/Tools/Exchange%20Support%
20Tools/ADModify/

says it's invalid or corrupted.

Is this still supposed to be a legit means to modify AD
display names? Will it also modify the 'Name' column in
AD (not just Display Name)? The script I used previously
(KB Art. 277717) only changes 'Display Name' (not 'Name').

Try to redownload it. Clear IE cache prior to download. The image there is
valid and ok.

Bill,

I just tried to access it and was given an error. Not sure why this
happened ( IIRC, it does every so often ). Send me your e-mail and I will
send it to you.

I've run the AD Modify, and it seemed to work properly.
However, I was hoping the 'Name' column in AD would also
show Last Name first, but it doesn't. For new users
(after running ADSI Edit), the 'Name' column defaultly
shows Last Name first in the 'Name' column. To get
the 'Name' column changed to Last Name first, am I going
to have to do it manually :( for existing users? Thanks
again.
