I used to be the administrator on my pc but this seems to have disappeared

XP Home: Boot to Safe Mode and log on to the built in Administrator
account.

XP Pro: Press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice at the welcome screen and log on to the
built in Administrator account.

The built in Administrator account is named Administrator unless the user
manually renamed the account. So unless you did so, type in/select
Administrator.

If XP was installed by the manufacturer and/or this is XP Home, the
password for the account is blank (unless the user changed this too). If
Pro was installed by the user, one of the steps was creating a password for
the default administrator account. Your not allowed to leave the password
blank so unless this password was also changed later on by the user, the
original password should still work.
