Administrator password forgotten

My daughter got a laptop for Christmas. We took it on vacation. She is the
administrator on it and for got her password. She attempted to sign on
numerous times and it froze up...then kept asking to reboot with four
options. All tried, none letting her on. We came home from vacation and
tried to repair windows with the cd. It would not complete the repair and
asked us to see the administrator. Can any one help me? I hate to take it
in to have them charge me sixty dollars to tell me something I could have
done here. Any suggestions? Thank you, Terry
