Administrator Login without Welcome Screen

How do I login as the "administrator" WITHOUT the welcome screen. I know at
the welcome screen one would hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice to get to the "NT"
login window. This machine only has two users, default and administrator.

Hi Darrell,

You want it to automatically logon as administrator?

Start/run "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes).

Uncheck the box requiring a username and password, click apply/ok and follow
the prompts to set up a default logon.

Thanks for the quick reply, Rick. I was looking to log into "Administrator"
on a per boot up basis. This computer has no welcome screen.

Hi,

I think I am confused, what are you seeing now when you boot up?

If I understand you correctly, you want to have the system stop without
logging you on, and you do not want the Welcome screen?

I want it to boot to a "default" user, without the welcome screen, as it is
now. I need to know how to login as the "administrator" to have complete
file access (permissions).
Any clearer??
Thanks Rick.

Hi,

Have you tried using the procedure I gave you to set the Administrator as
logon? Or given the default user administrator priviledges?

Thanks again Rick. I'll give "default" user administrator priviledges.
