Administrator has disabled Registry

I have Windows XP home edition. I loaded AOL 9.0. The
fix portion found a problem and I let it fix it. I then
noticed that I could not download updates to other
software that I have installed such as Yahoo. I know get
a message that says "Administrator has disabled
Registry". Any suggestions as to how to enable the
registry would be greatly appreciated.

Ask the administrator.

Do a search for poledit and run it. This will give you
options on what can and can't be done on your computer.
If you can't find it on your computer send me an e-mail
and I will happily send it to you.
A word of caution though
Be careful on what you do with this program as you can
lock yourself out of windows.
