Administrator Documents and Settings File Access Denied

I am logged on as a computer administrator, but for some reason I get a file
access denied message when I try to explore the Administrator folder in
Documents and Setting. In fact, anything I try to do to that folder to
change rights or permissions gives me the same error. What do I have to do
to get access to that folder?
