Administrator account - one user account folder missing from list?

I have a laptop running XP Pro. I have three accounts set up: myself as
Administrator, myself as a User, and my wife as a User.

When logged in as Administrator, the "My Computer" display window used to
show (along the top) the "Files stored on this computer" - and it would show
4 little folder symbols labelled Shared Docs, my (Administrator) Docs, my
(User) Docs, and my wife's User docs.

Recently I noticed that this display window it only shows 3 folders -
Shared, me as Admin, and my wife as User. No sign of my User Docs. Of
course they still exist, but I can only find my User Docs (when logged on as
Admin) by going into Windows Explorer then C> Docs & Settings> me as User> me
as User Docs .

Why has the little folder symbol of my (User) Docs vanished from the "My
Computer" display listing? I haven't knowingly made that folder private or
hidden (I wouldn't know how to!).

And a quick additional point. I've just looked at the "My Computer" display
window when I'm logged on as User. And guess what: the my-User Docs folder
icon doesn't appear there either! Only the Shared Docs folder icon. Again,
if I look down the Windows Explorer tree I can still find my-User Docs (and
if when logged in as User, I click on the left-menu panel ref to "My Docs",
that opens the folder...
