While using IE (vers 6.0.2800.1106IS) over Win2k, logged in with
administrator privleges, when I attempt to open the "Internet Options" menu
under the "Tools", I get a red X'ed warning box and the message, "This
operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on your computer. Please
contact your system administrator". What's going on?

Did you install SpyBot?

When I go to 'Tools' 'Internet Options' I get the following error:
This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact your system administrator.

If you have SpyBot S & D installed, go to SpyBot - Search and Destroy
Immunize, and UNcheck the "Lock IE Control Panel..." box.

If you have troubles with your browser not having all the controls in the
expected
places download and run this .reg file.
