How can I fix this problem when I want to delete temp files via the
tools>internent options> I getthis pop-up window:" this operation has been
canceled due to restrictions in effect on this comp..... contact your sys
admin"?? I'm the sys admin, but can not fix??

Any help you can offer will be appreciated

If you are not logging under a domain (that pushes its own policies on
login), run the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) and check under:

Computer Configuration
Administrative Templates
Windows Components
Internet Explorer
Internet Control

Check if any of the "Disable the <name> page" options are disabled.

You might also want to start checking the options in any anti-malware
programs you have running to see if they are locking you out.

Thanks, I'll start with your suggestions right away. You mentioned "malware"
is possible that may be it, since I ran a malware scan with the shield
program.

Thanks so much. I checked "gpedit.msc" all was OK. The problem was with
malware program. I "undo" the previous scan. and all worked OK!

Presumably you meant in an ANTI-malware program (where the "scan"
actually committed some action). WHICH anti-malware program?
