administrative tools icons disappeared

When I go to Control Panel and open "Administrative tools" I find only
"desktop.ini". The other icons that used to be there has gone.
I would appreciate if anybody could help me out.

Sorry to say, nothing changed. Still missing icons for administrative tools
in control panel.

This can happen, if you move the icons from the ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS
folder on the Start menu. Move them back and move the entire folder
instead.
Also make sure that under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders in the Registry the "Common Administrative Tools" entry
points to an existing folder.s
