administrater login

hello..i am trying to fix my daughters internet problem.
my ip address starts with 169. but we login with her
normal login it now is not the administrater login. how
can we set up a new administater login???? help!!!

Hi,

The Administrator profile and username is a default profile in Windows XP and should not be used for everyday use. To see the admin log on boot up in safe mode (F8) and you will see the username Administrator log on.

I would advise you to log on as Admin go to control pannel>User accounts then create a new user and make it an admin account.
