admin problems

Hi, just yesterday i loged on to my account (admin) and i
couldnt get on anything.. say.. if i double clicked my
computer it would start loading (with the hour glass on
the pointer) and then just stop. After i tryed to to go
other stuff the computer just frozebut i was still able
to move the mouse) now it does it all the time, on any
admin account, so i cant realy do anything. it doesnt do
it on normal accounts, it wont let me install any windows
updates or service packs(i just get an error) i can get
onto admin account in safe mode without it screwing up
but i cant install any updates.. plz help

also i cannot get onto any programs that use sound (winamp, wmp) and also games, just about everything, this is so screwed up i want my good ol' computer back

You need to do a full scan of the pc for viruses and spyware, using
current virus and spyware definitions.
