Admin login contaminated

Long story as to how it happened, but the end result is that my XP Admin log-in can not browse. Dial up connects, then every page is "unable to display page". My husband's user log-in works just fine. I've double checked all the obvious settings. They are alike. But his works and mine doesn't. Any ideas?

I don't know what the problem is but you may be able to fix it by doing a
repair. Boot from your cd and do not select the initial reair, that uses the
repair console and you don't need that. Select install and on the next
screen, you will have another repair option. This will restore windows to
what it should be without destroying any damage. That may fix the admin
login for you.
