System time on some boxes running Windows XP Pro and
Windows 2000 Server consistently advance the clock 3
hours. I have the time in the correct time zone, but the
clock resets upon whenever I log on.

Same problem here, BIOS time can be set to whatever you like, all settings in
"Adjust date/time" have been tried. Result: clock stays correct for a couple
of hours, then it jumps forward 2 hours, and stays there. Looks like it is
getting this info from somewhere else, another server in the network... All
tips welcome !

if you don'd hold time, your motherboard battery is gone and should be
replaced.

if your time is always correct and a constont number of hours off, then you
must set your time zone.
