Clock time is not right

I have Windows XP Pro and all the updates are installed. The clock time is
not correct. Off by 10 hours. I open the control panel and is says that
synchronization was successful and daylight savings is checked. I can adjust
the time manually and it sets for a split second and then adjusts back to the
incorrect time? What else can I try?

It's probably your time zone that is incorrect...Control Panel-Date and
Time and click on the Time Zone tab...

Did you click Apply? :)

Seriously, is the computer on a network? If so, is the time/time zone on
the domain controller correct?

Is the Windows Time Server started? Go to the command prompt and type "net
start w32time" (without the quotes) and hit Enter. It's it's already
running it will tell you.

Are there any other time synchronization apps running on the PC (atomtime,
etc)?

The internet time server update is unchecked. How can I verify that another
external time server is not running. This all began with the time change 2
weeks ago.
