How do you make the address book alphabetized by the *last* name instead of
always by the *first* name? When I use the select recipient drop down it is
always by the last name. Please help.

Click on the Name column heading.. it cycles thru 4 different sorts...

That's just the problem. I keep doing what you suggest but it only recycles
2 times and then shows the first names A to Z and then from Z to A. At no
time can I get it to show the last names alphabetized first and then the
first names.

Sounds like you don't actually have the last name saved in the Last Name
field. Open Contacts, then click on one of the contacts. Are all the fields
properly populated?

appears instead of "Graceffa, Abbe". For the life of me, I can not figure it
out,

I don't know why your contacts behave differently from mine. When
I click on To, then on the Name column, it cycles through four sorts:

a) Last name, First name
b) same, but reverse alphabet order
c) First + Last name
d) same, but reverse alphabet order
