I recently upgraded to Office 2003. I have been able to pull over all my
messages and folders into Outlook 2003 from Outlook 2000. I have not been
able to bring over my address book. Can anyone help? Thanks,

Donna

If you REALLY did an upgrade then you shouldn't have needed to do any of
that - Outlook 2003 would have automatically found your existing pst file
containing all your mail, tasks, calendar and contacts. What did you REALLY
do?

I followed whatever prompts came up on the screen. I have all mail, tasks,
contacts and my calendar is correct. My problem is that when I start a New
Email and click on the To button to choose from my Address Book there are no
names in there.

It's possible that it's looking at your Outlook Address Book instead of the
contacts list. If all of your addresses were in the Contacts previously,
you have to tell Outlook to look at the contacts first. To fix it:

open your address book (click the book in your toolbar)
Click Tools > Options
Change 'Show this address list first' to Contacts
Change 'Keep Personal Addresses in' to Contacts
Set 'When sending mail, check names using these adress lists in the
following order:' to Contacts, Personal Address Book, Global Address List.

If you would prefer to use your Personal Address Book, instead of Contacts,
then change these options around a little. Use the PAB instead of the
Contacts in the first 2 options, then put the PAB first when changing the
search order.
