Hi,
You may wish to check that you have enabled searching from the address bar.
To do this, attempt the following:
Click on Tools, then Internet Options.
Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down until you observe the header, "Search from the Address bar".
Under the sub-header, "When searching", click on the "Just display search
results in main window" radio button.
If this does not restore access, you may wish to try the following patch. It
should restore your settings to their default value.
Download it from:

Regards,
Altrus
| I am now unable to do any address searching from IE6
| address bar
|
| I've recently added Zone Alarm Pro and have gotten rid of
| tons of spyware/adware.
|
| What should I be looking for, where and how to fix?
|
| Thanks
| Michael
