Address Bar Not Working

[Person Who Hates Internet Explorer]

I recently had over 30 spyware/adware programs on my
computer and after removing all of them whenever i type a
search query into the address bar if internet explorer it
just goes to "http://?search query". Does anyone know how
to fix this. Please don't tell me "Dealing with Unwanted
Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm" because i already
got rid of all of the spyware.

Try this to reset your IE settings:
Open IE click [tools][internet options][programs][reset
web settings]

i tried doing that 5 times already but it still didn't
work. i have tried everything you can think of except

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
