Popups Problem

This is caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items
listed in red.)

Only when I use IE (Not netscape) something is running
in the background with popups loading and occasionally
other program automatically load. During the popup time,
my system becomes disabled and I can't move the cursor,
exit IE, etc.
I loaded my windows XP Home installation diskette but
don't see an option to just re-install Internet Explorer.

Sometimes Spybot and Ad-aware do not remove everything. There are other
tools you can try. Check the links provided by anonymous -

- they provide links for other tools.

Try - CW Shredder

Thanks for the comments. I forgot to mention that I have d/l ed spybot
and aware6, run them, deleted all spyware, etc. but still have this problem.
It seems unique to IE so wondering if something was modified in my registery
but I'm not an expert and wouldn't dare try and research and modify my
registery.
