Address Bar Problem

Hi,

my PC was infected with several viruses a while ago. The virus scanner
found these and removed them, but since then the address of some
random porn site comes up in my address bar whenever you start type
"ww"... etc.

It comes up below the address bar in the bit where the previously
visted sites would be shown. It remains there even when the history
has been cleared and tempory internet files deleted. Does anyone know
how to fix this?

Remove the parasite(s).

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
